Home Learning
Below you can find details of the 'Home Learning' expectations for your child. Following our 'homework' survey in Summer 2023, we have re-added an element of written homework to compliment online activities. Each term, teachers will also add their planning overview for the term on the school website and provide a curriculum newsletter so that you are aware of learning in class should your child wish to undertake additional learning activities at home.
Reception
- Daily reading- Please record this in their reading record.
- Phonics- A weekly guide for parents will help you support your child in their phonics development.
Year 1
- Daily reading- Please record this in their reading record.
- Phonics- A weekly activity that will help you support your child in their phonics development. The phonemes and graphemes covered will have been taught the previously week to your child.
- Maths - Maths questions in homework book or Online Number Bots activity.
Year 2

Communion Club
Communion Club runs from January to May each year for children who wish to receive the Sacrament of the Holy Eucharist in June.
Home learning is set weekly for the club using the 'I Belong' programme.
